For centuries, Benedictine monks have been publishing books. Dom Guéranger, the founder of the Solesmes Abbey, published extensively, most notably *L’Année liturgique*, which was a great success. Building on this long tradition, Éditions de Solesmes now offers a wide range of books on spirituality.
Beginning in 1883, the monks of Solesmes published books on Gregorian chant and related topics—including the famous Gradual, which contains the pieces for the Mass—and founded the musical paleography workshop. You will also find the complete collection of recordings made by the monks of Solesmes since 1930.
